I'm wondering if anyone else has/had a one-person budgie.
Poor Brezel (1 year old female) seems to only want anything to do with me, and nobody else in the house. Mum is physically disabled and sits in the room baby's cage is in, and would be a fine target for some bothering, but Brezel completely ignores her. My dad doesn't know how and isn't willing to learn how to interact with parrots. I feel bad, because my budgie-meter fills up quickly and I get quite annoyed with her and have to send her out of my room so I can calm down. But it's sad that I seem to be the only human that she likes. It would be nice if she had someone else to play with, but she takes no interest at all in my mum.
Hopefully Brez will warm up to others in the house eventually. Just a little rant I guess.
