This is my first time raising chicks. I have six babies, 2- RIR, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Barred Rock and 2 silkies. All but the silkies are two weeks old, the silkies are almost four weeks old. One of the RIR is not growing, not eating very much and just seems to be too sleepy all the time. I have added Sav A Chick to one of their waterers and have tried hand feeding the chick some scrambled egg. She doesn't seem to be getting better. I keep thinking that the next time I go to check on them I will find that she has passed. Any suggestions? She also has runny poo and I have to clean her vent several times a day. All the others are doing great.

perhaps some antibiotic? runny poo could mean an infection - and would account for failure to thrive. she could also be dehydrated because of that.
