Rollerblading along the road
Some pictures of Olive from today for anyone interested (and for me to gush about, of course). He's doing awesome. Playing with toys, eating well, flying - LOVES to fly, playing with toys, becoming very brave, and did I mention he's playing with toys He really likes his balsa bobs from T4W. His favorite toy right now is the Sunflower Dingle. He's making good progress on it!!
I'd like to say he's become very comfortable with me. He seems to like to spend time with me, just sitting on my hand or shoulder and napping/preening. I'm trying to get him to let ME preen HIM but he's reluctant so far. All in good time He doesn't seem as comfortable with other people yet, which is interesting to me because my other three lovebirds are comfortable with everyone. Olive will go to other people but he seems to be more hesitent, especially to people who are maybe less apt at reading what he's trying to say and responding accordingly. I think he will keep warming up though - he learns and adapts amazingly fast.
And without further ado, Olive:
Just hanging out under one of the lights. It's freezing today so I'd bet it was warmer to nap up there.
Apparently it wasn't that cold though because he was still in his favorite spot - the window. This is also Tiki's favorite spot but he sits in the coconut you see behind Olive.
Isn't he adorable?
On my computer - He likes to sit there while I compute away.
Just hanging out.
I loved his positioning here but unfortunately there is another light above that perch and it washed the colors out. Still adorable though.
His floofy little face!
I took pictures of the other birds too but they will have to wait until another day!
