I was just wondering if anyone on heres had experience with having a cockatiel or really any bird and having a new born baby such as how did the bird act, did they get jealous, etc. Im about 7 months pregnant and my cockatiel will climb on my stomach and when she feels the baby kick she'll put her head down and lightly whistle and "talk" to him which is the sweetest thing ive ever seen  So im just wondering how she could possibly react once he's born and she has to share our attention with her human brother, thank you in advance for any answers :)

My first son was born when I had a Quaker and a green cheek. My Quaker, Jingo was very interested but my green cheek kept her distance. Once he started walking, though, Jingo started biting my son's fingers so he'd drop his food so he could steal it :(

My second was born with my Jardine's. He doesn't really care for kids but he blows kisses whenever I pick the baby up  Mathias is only 6.5 months old so we will see how it progresses!
