Corky recently learned how to go into closed drawers, and decided that it makes a great nest. He's shredded the paper that was originally in the desk, and somehow got through the barrier I put in. He also bites whoever tries to take him out of the drawer. Why Corky??? WHY?

Invest in child clips to keep your drawers closed
They are closed, but there is a tiny little gap on the top on the bottom of the "table" part of the table. He somehow scales the cords up to the bottom of the slab of wood, does some weird acrobatics, and ends up right in the drawer! I even tried blocking the opening with books, didn't work  Now adding more books, will update on wether it works or not
Honesty, sometimes I think Corky is part liquid part bird.... I'll get a picture

Is Corky on the floor giving him access to climbing the cord? You could buy a piece of pvc pipe big enough to fit the plug of the cord through, thread the cord through the pvc to plug in the wall. He shouldn't be able to climb the slippery surface of the pvc. I'd be equally worried he could chew through that cord and get electrocuted.
