Hi, so I've been looking into getting a bird with more seriousness in the last few months and I stumbled across this forum and the many great answers to many questions I had. I've recently started to look into a rescue nearby my house and have been particularly interested in a linnie they have there.
This forum has been a great help so far after going through all the different posts (especially the "good, bad, and the ugly" of bird types on each "street"). I'm very excited to possibly be getting a bird soon but I'm in no rush at this point as I will not be able to get a bird until next year or so. Thank you all for posting here and answering questions, it's really helped me figure out what a commitment and task owning a bird is.
