Sooooo I’m having an issue attaching / hanging a cuttlebone and came across your comment in my search. Can you tell me your thoughts please. I was under the impression it’s needed for calcium. No??
If you have your bird on a quality and varied diet, pellets -fresh foods cooked or raw depending on the food there is no need to add any calcium unless you are breeding birds and need to increase the intake of calcium prior to a hen laying eggs. What is the complete diet you are feeding your bird?

Just a blend of Harrison’s and TOPS. Charlie doesn’t touch fresh foods yet but my green cheek conure does. I don’t offer it daily yet, I’m trying to get better at the whole chop thing.
