After a bit, all the toys and bits and bobs I ordered for Gila are here at last!

She didn't make any fuss while I was placing things in, and has been meeting her new toys.

The stairs are too big to fit in that cage :(
Really need a new one, this is getting out of hand quite fast.

When I arrived there were a few feathers on the bottom of her cage, not sure if that should be normal or if she has been plucking them (for reference she should be about 8 months old), she was very squished on her perch, but now she seems a bit happier.

She’s a cutie! The cage is small for her especially with all the toys stuffed in there so getting a bigger one is a good idea. Birds lose feathers just like we lose hair and if she were to be plucking she would pluck her tummy feathers. When birds preen they sometimes pull out unwanted feathers or when they molt they lose a lot too.

This is great progress that she didn't fuss when you put the new toys in!
I can't wait to see which cage you get in the future, do you have any ideas on that yet?

I do have some ideas, I might buy a new one if I find a big enough one, or go get a used one, though I am skeptical of some cages, they can have a bit of rust and I don't want that around my baby.
I have seen this one:
though it seem a bit tall and not too wide, I'll keep searching for the right one on the meantime..
