New to budgies

Is this normal? He’s sleeping in this, it’s only 5pm. Do you think he’s too hot or something is wrong?

What's the room temperature? It is common for them to take naps during the day, and they will opt for the most comfortable position they can find. How much does he nap or sleep during the day?

It’s 77 in the room. I’ve seen him sleep a bit during the day but never laying down like that.
He was just at the vet yesterday.. could he be stressed from that?

Members have written budgies do seem to get tired from a vet visit. I would only be concerned if he was sleeping on cage floor.
