New shiny big boy feathers!

Ope has been molting a lot of his body feathers lately and his new feathers are so pretty and no stress bars, phew!!

I'm not sure what the deal is with his flight feathers not being even yet but his flying has gotten SO good! He can turn around midair, and change altitude really quickly, and he thinks it's HILARIOUS to do drive bys of my head hahaha

Looks like just missing one primary! I love the bump on the second longest primary feathers that quakers have!

I've been meaning to take a picture of those feathers to share in the feathers thread!

It's so fun seeing his little boy feathers with banged up edges or stress bars be replaced with these ridiculously shiny things!

He's started having zoomies and turning in circles midair for fun - blows my mind! And Cotton's too, my little naked guy :/

my boy has eyelashes, too. I think they’re called “rictal bristles”, but eyelashes works fine.
Quakers ARE iridescent, aren’t they?
