New Salty tricks video

Haven't been on in awhile, so I thought I'd post Salty's latest training video. He was such a good boy for it.

Thanks, he is my buddy every night right around training time. He even does histricks for my wife and oldest son. The youngest - well he would love to rip his eyeballs out. We don't know why Salty feels like that, he helped wean him when we first got Salty

These guys can be quite quirky at times. My Pan-Am Harley (in avatar) doesn't fancy me all that much. Prefers the company of men over women. But I keep trying to win him over, 6 years later!

I'm surprized, Pan-Ams are the parrot of choice in their native ranges, and they are noted for being a lot mellower than the hot 3. Good for you for trying. Remember, the way to a parrots heart is thru their bellies. I tell folks to find the parrots most favorite treat, and then only YOU provide it. Walkpast the cage - treat, Be consistent too. I'm sure you will win Harley over.

He's actually getting better now that my son, his chosen one, has joined the Navy. He'll act as if he wants to step up, but then if I offer my arm, bam! I become tattooed. And his bites are nasty compared with my other birds. If he flies away from his cage top and crash lands somewhere, he'll allow me to pick him up then.

I absolutely adore this guy though. He's funny, loves to sing and chat back. He's very special to me, and I love him whether he tatoos me or not!
