Mossel Bay, the sea side town in which Alex and I live, is very much a holiday destination and there have been literally thousands of visitors over the December festive period, which are very difficult for Alex to handle.

Most of these folk have fortunately returned home by now and the days are much quieter.

Here is a photograph taken this morning of Alex climbing into the photographer, Riaan's, car as his picture was taken.

O Lord Sarah, I am so terribly sorry to hear this news.
If memory serves, Mary Lynn was the first person to respond to my very first post around 10 years ago. She always seemed to have my back when I was doing crazy things that many other members might not have approve of.
She told me of the time she swam with sharks and how she loved big horses and big dogs and big birds.
The way she cared for her greenwings, made me strive to be a better parent to Alex.
I am so sorry for your loss as well Sarah. I am sitting in front of the computer crying.

She always had your back... Even when I didn't approve.
Mary Lynn was always the first to respond to your posts and I often felt like she was doing it so no one would challenge you.
Your strange arrangements always had me feeling uneasy but she saw what I didn't right away.
You were one of her favorite members and I'm am glad you and Alex are still together and telling your stories.

Aaaa Sarah, I no longer have words tonight.

I will tell Alex tomorrow morning, in the early light, next to the ocean. Will tell him everything I have read tonight. I have always spoken to him as I speak to any other person and I will share it all with him as the dawn breaks tomorrow.
