I’m not trying to be rude at all.The yelling is going to take some time for you to get use to and your bird is being normal! It might take a few days but he/she will probably start calming down if not then try to give he/she something to do. You shouldn’t get a specific bird because they’re quiet because no birds the same. Some might be quiet others might be loud and that’s just they’re personality!I don’t really know what to do about the yelling because with my birds I don’t really care that they are expressing themselves I know after a few years that’s just how they are and I don’t want to change that.

I 100% agree my parrotlet is quick while im in the room unless she wants attention or out of her cage (most of the time she is for play and training) but by god the moment I walk out of the room she's flock calling for me to come back like wait human you forgot me!! its so cute
