New Parents to 8 yo Pionus :)

Hi guys!

Me & my partner just adopted an 8 year old blue-headed Pionus female she is beautiful, tame and very sweet! We'll be bringing her home in a few days. For now just getting excited and trying to do as much research as possible, including reading through so much here at this amazing community! She is basically our first bird (I had a parrot as a child but not since then). We're thrilled and nervous! Any experienced bird lovers who feel like sharing some wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

Today was a big day! We brought her home Saturday afternoon, and today, after lots of time on top of her cage and chirping at us, she asked to step up and come off her cage to say hello she also starting eating her pellets! What a good girl we have!

She's BEAUTIFUL!!! Usually w/ new birds I notice their feathers & beaks. There's something unique to her as I noticed her eye (special soul?). What's her name?
