New parent of a rescued Senegal

I am not new to birds, but I am new to Senegals. She is a rescue and I don't have any history on her. I don't even know her age. She is as sweet as sugar. Her name is Paris. She doesn't make much noise except a sound that is the same pitch as a smoke detector, is that their normal sound?

Too bad you have no info on her but its a plus Paris is a sweetie.
Noise I'm sure will get more intricate as she gets used to her new home. I never had a senegal but had a meyers & she made that smoke detector sound every 3 minutes. She could do a really loud alarm call. My Meyers was very vocal for a Meyers but grew up all alone in a room of a house. I think they learned to get attention they had to really put on a show & she had to do the contact call even if I was in the room.

Yep. That's quite an infamous poi sound. My red-bellied makes it too.
