I just got my baby yesterday. He flew to me a few times today while he was on his cage. Once to my husband when I left the room. when he was on the floor playing he would fly up to me to en down back up. He can step up and has learn step down but when do I really start training tho. He does like veggies. He seems pretty comfortable with me. I know it will take time.

Congrats! I would let the baby settle in for a week or so before you start training. And keep in mind training sessions short be short- 5-10 minutes at a time and you always want to end on a positive note.

His name is Levi. My daughter was dead set on Levi are Lexi but we got a Levi. I just love him.

Oh god, yeah...dust and tiny tiny feathers. My guy just finished a preening sesh on my shoulder, then did the typical "puff'n'shake" and I watched all the tiny feathers float down around my face like snow. With two birds in my office, I'm sweeping and/or vacuuming daily, sometimes twice, and always dusting.
