They can be that. I know I haven't had a tiny one in 19 years, he was 5 mos when we got him. I adopted a 10 mos old in 2006. The last two adoptions 12 and 5 plus years ago both over 5 and 6!

Now thats a pleasure! Alittle accident in their new place here and there, then all good!

Nothing chewed or destroyed even better!

Congrats on the new boy. Water, tennis balls and a human ready to throw for hours will make him a happy boy. My parents had one and they live on a lake. She used to invite herself to backyard beach parties and find some kid willing to throw for hours.
