We are moving from a one bedroon apartment into a two or three bedroom home hopefully by Christmas. We have an eight month old GCC named Sunflower. I was hoping for some tips about moving with a bird. Anything we should do or look out for?

Just make sure he stays safe and warm and don't let him out till you have the house warmed up and bird safe. Make sure there's nothing toxic like fresh paint fumes and like that. Lurch was fine in our new to us house in 2012 because most everything had been redone a while before so everything had settled in. He did love his new much bigger domain and kept bouncing off the vaulted ceiling in the living room while enjoying and learning his new flight areas.

We live in Florida, so warming up the house won't be a problem.
