Hi, just joined and wanted to say hi! I have a baby cockatiel who is a 37 days old. Her name is Misty. I don’t actually know the sex but a few people think she is girl but since she is a pied, can’t be sure.
She is very sweet, loves to cuddle and loves to fly already. Her favorite thing to do is fly off as soon as I finish her handfeeding, because she hates it when I clean off the formula LOL.
Starting to eat some real food, little millet, pellets and seeds. She has started eating fresh veggies when we eat them.
She is mainly in a container, especially when I put out her millet and stuff to pick at. I put her in her cage a couple of hours a day so she can practice perching and get used to it. She doesn’t like eating in there yet.
