Because the birds spent too much time on the curtain rails and recently discovered that the top of the airconditioning system was even more, we decided to make them a more attractive playground so it is a bit safer. So on purpose we made it a tiny bit taller than the curtain rails and it actually works, they still hang on from time to time to the curtains, but especially for Hani-chan, the playground is the fun place to be. I don't like PVC, so ideally in the future it will be all covered by cotton rope, but as 20 m of rope cover only about 1.75m of PVC pipe, it is a bit expensive so we will do it step by step. Even Botan-chan with her handicapped foot does not seem to be annoyed by standing on the slippery PVC pipe. Still some work in progress, but happy to see that they already adopted it.
