introducing Kermit! I tried to name him Fergus, but it just didn’t stick. It’s not a great picture but here ya go. I kept calling him Kermit. He’s four years old and is adjusting well. I’m working on taming him, and just getting used to his new surroundings. I am going to make a vet appointment to get him a health check but just wanted to say hi and introduce him.

Congrats! We have a 14 year old Blue Head. She is the sweetest bird you could ask for. She's literally never given us a real bite in the 6 years we've had her. She has traveled in a plane and across the country by car. She adjusted to our having a new baby and moving many times. She is a trooper! Not the most active of birds, and she prefers to be hands off other than the occasional head scritch, but she's a capable flier and has such a sweet, pure soul.

I work in the animal field and a friend knew I was looking and contacted me, she knew someone who had 1 for sale. I assumed it was a scam the whole time until I met him. He said he bought him a few years ago for a breeding project that never panned out, so I bought him from the guy. I live in VA and it was local.

He is gorgeous. The beak looks normal. Just make sure he has a lot of wood to chew and that should keep it good.
