Emily, I moved this to 911 so you can get all the help we can give till you get to the vet. I know you will make sure he stays hydrated. If possible and have some Pedialyte on hand in case you need it.
Pedialyte is a specially formulated drink to quickly replace lost fluids and electrolytes due to dehydration from not drinking, vomiting or diarrhea. It's good for people and animals also. For birds it is recommended to dilute it 50%. It's always good to have on hand when you have a sick bird just in case they stop drinking.
Sorry this happened...
Just keep an eye on him and make sure he is eating/drinking/pooping...call the vet in the AM and let them know about the dark area below the keel bone...if possible tomorrow, can you take a picture and send it to your vet????
