so i wanna make a play gym for my cockatiel and 2 budgies from pvc pipes and i lack the imagination.

if anyone could help me come up with something, or link a video or image of a nice play gym it would be helpful :-D

(side note: is a 3cms (1,18 inches) a good diameter for a pvc pipe to use for a playgym or do i need to look from somthing smaller?)

thanks in advance :-D

I think your best bet is to just buy the parts and experiment to see what world for you and your birds :) What size are you looking for? Like a tabletop size or really large like the 3rd image?

I've been adding levels pretty slowly, but she seems ready for the top rung and swing. The foraging toys will go in tougher places on the vertical sections and serve as climbing tools. I've been distracted lately, so she's getting bored with its simple set up. It was super scary at first, so make sure they're comfy with it and get lots of goodies on it.

You may not even need to make it yourself - @Matto has some great stands, and if I weren't in the UK I would definitely buy one of his!

They look great! Sometimes I wish I was in America: so many great bird shop choices! :)

I find the 1/2" pvc the best size for my small birds. You may want to see what you're buying in store because it seems like there is variation. I just sketch it out and adjust the measurements. If you're in the US, Ace Hardware has great prices and you can buy the fittings individually (vs multi pack online)

Or this one I just messed with leftover pvc and came up with something. It's 3/4" pipe which I think is too big.
