In the floor level aerogarden peppers jungle. Croaks at odd hours and odd locations but we have never seen him. It’s been two weeks. I read frog diet is live worms crickets flies. wont eat dead meat. Ugh i don’t need a loose pet frog

Never seen him. Thought it was the aerogarden complaining the roots were choking the pump but this is not documented on the internet plus the sound moves to the soil pots sometimes

oh good! Does this mean I don’t have to sacrifice any worms to feed it?
If there was no food supply he would take off.
Green tree frogs and geckos have moved into my home more than a few times over the years to eat the mozzies and other bugs that gathered near lights. I never went out of my way to feed them.
I was a bit unsure if I needed to do anything different or special when a frog recently moved into my pond but the ones in my house I never did anything other than hide the fly spray from other people. I just always made sure they had a way back out so they could leave whenever they wanted.

I hope you catch him. Frogs are quick.

You could look for his hiding spot. Frogs tend to like damp areas and narrow spaces that allow them to maintain hydration.

I had a paper bag and broom but spooked him and he took off again!

@Shezbug can I lure him into damp coir or something? There’s a lot of random stuff in the room and he’s too quick

They used to always end up inside my kids dads work boots. From what I hear that’s pretty common to find them in shoes. Try your hubby’s work boot maybe

A clear plastic container might work better than a bag or broom. If you can find him on a flat surface, like wall or table, set the container over the frog to trap him, then slide a piece of paper or cardboard under the container, so you can pick up the frog.

Frogs can jump away quickly when threatened, but they tend to freeze and hope you don't spot them most of the time. Kind of like tiny rabbits.
