You can use seagrass mats to create a tunnel or hut. :)
Good suggestion.

Alternatives are coconut hollows, creating huts with dried palm leaves, or large wooden rodent houses.

Be careful offering huts to hens as it can make them nesty and speed up egg laying.

I agree with Yoshi&Raphi. :) I made my very own bird hut out of seagrass mats and it got quite a bit of use.

My bird likes to sit in it, climb it, and even chew on it. And it’s much safer than fabric ‘snuggle huts’ or whatever stores call them.
