Ingredients:

1 - 12 oz bag of frozen mixed veggies
2 - Boxes of corn muffin mix
1 cup of pellet
8 oz. applesauce
2 dried chiles
1 chopped par
1/2 cup of Flax seed
1/4 cup steel cut oats
1 cup parrot dry food
1 cup dried fruit
1 TBS peanut butter
1 whole Banana
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup apple juice
1 Tsp Ginger powder

I add the Frozen veggies, corn muffin mix, and whole eggs with shell in my kitchen aid mixer..no mixer needed. I just use mine like crazy.

Next .......I add the pellet, dry chiles, ginger, cinnamon, and applesauce to my food processor.

Grind it up til it looks like this.....

Add this mixture to the bowl with the corm muffin mix and eggs, veggies. add in the rest of the ingredients.

When its all mixed it should look like this....

Add this to a muffin or cupcake pan...greesed is best. Makes 24 muffins. Fill muffin cups to 3/4 the way full

Cook at 300 degrees for about 40 minutes or until center is firm.

Please note: I use zupreem because it seems the picky eaters that have been eating seed theyre entire lives tend to like this better than the higgins or Dr D's . I only use pellet in bird bread. It is more colorful and the birds are more attracted. I have tried many variations and this seems to work the best.

Wow thanks for sharing! I guess it must be some type of birdie bread?
Did it smell good while it was baking too?

Its a Kitchen Aid mixer..sorry..Like addicted to that thing! You can use just a spoon, just chop up the banana

lol i have a mixer and never even thought of using it to mix up the birdy bread. would be a lot easier than the spoon and bowl method Because we use 2-3 boxes sometimes 4 and it gets thick Quick lol

My kitchen aid is the large one, and if I needed the batches to be larger I would totally have to make 2 batches. The recipe I use fills the bowl up and makes a mess sort of. hahahaha..I should have shown pics of the kitchen AFTER baking. :o:
