Meet pip. She is small and sweet and is starting to come out of her shell. She loves looking at herself in the mirror and is very beautiful. This is my first parakeet and I absolutely love her.

I don't recommend mirrors for birds, but she's a gorgeous little thing! :)

Mirrors tend to make birds hormonal and obsessed. Budgies seem more prone to it to me. Also if regurgitation starts mirrors can get coated and dirty quickly.

It's good your willing to ask questions and learn.:)

Well, when you look like Pip, you should like looking into a mirror. :)

She is pretty. Make sure you get her a companion as soon as possible.
Birds look at their reflections because they need company, and think the mirror is another bird. If they have real bird companions its okay to let them play with mirrors, but if they live alone and the mirror is their only company they can develop an unhealthy attachment to it.
