My new Linnie!!

Hi there,

I am so excited, I got a new Linnie today! I have been interested in a Linnie for a few months. I was browsing craigslist and came across a young (6 month old) rehome.

He belonged to a couple. The guy works at a bird shop handfeeding baby birds and this was one he took care of. This Linnie's brother was adopted but he wasn't and he wasn't doing great at the shop, so he took him home. When he put him with his two Linnies, one of them didn't take to him, so they decided to rehome him. They really love him and had me send pictures of my birds and answer questions, etc. When I got there they told me that they had turned 30 people away!! There are Linnies in shops near me, a breeder near me and another baby available closer to me, but I fell in love with this guys pictures.

So, I went and got him today! So far, I love him. He is shy and a little afraid, but it's ok, I am willing to take my time with him.

He doesn't have a name yet, but I am considering Pickle. He is a male. Here he is!! Please feel free to throw name ideas at me:

Naming animals is SO my thing. My friend who does cattle dog rescue sends me pictures of all the rescues to name. I love naming show dogs too and coming up with a registered name that ties in with a call name. Hey, maybe I could do a sticky of bird names?????
