I am of the opinion.
If doubt is present, leave it out.
Birds can have a full and healthy diet without onions and garlic. Just my opinion on this matter.
Unless your bird has severe circulatory issues, as mine does. That is why my Jasper is on garlic along numerous other medications to keep her alive. Garlic is an effective vasodialator and that is what I said in my original post.
