Hi there
I have had my cockatiel Briggsy since around 6 months, he has bonded with me and we are very used to each other. Everything was fine until about 3 days ago when he was shivering and fluffed up, I checked his poos and they were not the right shape or colour. His were a range from: black, brown poo (not in the shape of his digestive tract) urate was white or yellow and urine was yellow. the only cause of this I could see was the seed, we got him Trill Nutrivit seed for the first time, I had already been feeding him different seeds and he was fine but this one was different. I wanted to take him to a vet but I am a minor and my parents don't understand that birds are fragile, I found him this morning barely able to move with fast breathing, he is very sleepy, my parents are not home currently so I cannot take him to a vet. I don't know whats going to happen to Briggsy.
