Chico somehow got his self wedged between a book case and the wall in my room. I'm guessing he was there about 15 or 25 minutes head down. I got him out but now he is quiet whereas before he was always chirping and calling. Also, he tried to fly and only got about six inches off the ground. I tried putting some millet in front of him but he had no interest in it. he is acting very quiet and won't leave my shoulder.
I called the avian vet to see if she could see him for an emergency but she is out of town until Thursday (3 days from now). I just don't know how to care for him until then. Should I put him in his cage and let him rast or should I leave him on my shoulder where he seems the most comfortable. He hasn'nt eaten or drank anything since I got him out, not even the millet. Any help you can give me would be very helpful and appreciated.
