I think she has the flu, her tail bobbing up and down all the time, and she coughs and sneezes, and she's warm, and her poop color changed to dropping green, and she makes a sound all the time like squeaking, I can't take her to a vet, is there anything I can do?

A regular vet would be helpful too, even if there's no avian vet around. My regular rabbit vet isn't board certified, but since my late one had many chronic health issues, she'd regularly consult with board certified ones in others cities (there are none here). It worked out great. Maybe there's a regular vet who'd do that for you with your bird. Then the regular vet could prescribe whatever was needed!

If it's a matter of finances, you can look into Credit Care. It's available for vet visits and if you pay the money back in a certain amount of time, there is no interest.

Bear in mind that Care Credit is only available in the US. However, if the original poster is outside the US and struggling wih money, they may be able to work out a payment plan with their vet.

@Fares, please take your bird to a vet. All the symptoms you've told us about indicate that she is very sick and may die without proper treatment. As @Sparkles99 said, if you don't have a specialised avian vet near you, a regular vet may be able to consult one to work out the best treatment for your bird.

Thread moved to 911 Bird Emergency Highway forum.

If anyone has any tips or advice for Fares on how to care for their bird to keep them stable while they seek a vet, please do post
