Hello! 3 weeks ago my budgie became less active, sleeps more and sits in the cage, eats less and drinks more. However, what worries me most is that from time to time he now squeaks. He began to squeak when I want to touch him (he does not like to be touched, but before he was indignant without a squeak), when he is nervous, sometimes when he eats or sleeps, sometimes for no reason. There is no discharge from the nose. I noticed that after eating he shakes his head 1-2 times. What could it be and how can I help him? Or is a trip to the vet the only thing needed?
A little about the parrot:
gender: male
age: 7 years
food: parrot food with millet. Doesn't eat fruits and vegetables, occasionally an apple or cucumber. Rarely could treat the parrot with food that is not suitable for the parrot, but when he got sick I don't give him such food at all
mineral stone in the cage: yes
vitamins: no
conditions: the cage is in the corner of the bedroom on the desk, the room is 71.6-73.4 degrees Fahrenheit (22-23 Celsius), humidity 50-55%.
