My boys are slowly taking flight

My linnies Caspar and Emrys came to me clipped. They now have all flight feathers and I'm so happy to say they're making progress! Caspar, the blue one, has been jump flying between my lovebird's cage and his own cage and I'm seeing him really build confidence. Whatever Caspar does, Emrys will follow, so I can see Emrys wants to try the jump fly oh wait! Literally while I was typing this Emrys jumped off his cage and flew over to me! And then he flew back to his cage! About 4' each way! He obviously is clumsy but I'm so proud of him! After Emrys flew over, Caspar followed! I'm so happy to see my boys learning to fly and even happier to see how much they love it! I wonder if my cheerleading them on translates to them hahah

Thanks! I have a net hung up too, but it doesn't want to stay put, I don't like to put nails in the walls and I haven't gotten out the duct tape yet

Caspar seemed giddy and ready to challenge himself. They definitely lack control but I think the jump fly is helping with that and with muscle development.
