My beautiful female died

Hi can anyone give me advice my female canary died suddenly today I'm heat broken and so is her husband ,the question is should I take her body away straight away ,I tried and he started making this noise and so I left her ,so should I leave her for a little bit or take her ,and secondly should I get a new wife for him or just let him grieve for a little bit they have been together for 2 years never apart ,I'm new to canaries and just learning ,it's been a terrible shock for us all ,thanks in advance

I would remove her so he knows she is gone.
I would wait and see how he is over the next day or two, then maybe get another one if you feel ready.
Please remember to quarantine the new one and get a vet check done before introducing them.
