My 2 new girls

I picked up my 2 Maran chicks today.
Here are the 2 pictures I have of them so far. Many more to come I sure. The one seemed more tired then then other. Made sure they knew where the food and water was when I put them in the brooder. Poor things have had a rough day or 2. These ones came from a hatchery in New Mexico to the post office, then to the store where I picked them up today. New chicks stress me out. I worry so much about them.

Do you know what type you are getting this year? I'm excited to be getting the breeds I want. Although I'll still be lacking Olive Eggers. Might just have to get a rooster and try and produce my own Olive Eggers since I'll have the hens.
