Muscovy Ducks - baby pics!

Anyone else here own Muscovy ducks? I love everything about the except their mess! I guess it could be worse - they could leave geese-sized messes. Figured I would share a few pics of our barnyard feathered friends.

so pretty!!! I love muscovies - they are so worth the mess - I have to wash their pond steps down a couple of times a dayoodance1:

we have two hens, Ruby and Rosie - they eat their weight in mosquitoes, fleas and flies

The bug eating is exactly why we got them originally. Now I just love their antics.

Did anyone notice a visitor in the first pic?

We hatched 9 Muscovies 2 summers ago. The mama duck had been beat up by a raccoon and she abandoned her nest. It was at my kids school. We had been keeping an eye on her for weeks then this happened. They are so cute! We were shocked when all 9 of our eggs hatched healthy ducklings. We gave them to a lady that released them on her pond.

They are sooo cute! We don't have Muscovys, but we have a couple of Indian Runner ducks. They are messy! But they do the funniest things so I still love them.

I grew up with Muscovies (more than I could count). I love their wacky personalities, and they are great at eating flies in the barn when they are babies! Your flock is gorgeous!

Thanks! You should see their antics if they think they might get some dog food for a treat. They all come running even if they are in the back field. Dog food is their chocolate.
