Oh wow, he´s huge! I don´t even want to think of the huge holes he would eat in clothes :faint:

Moths are just about the only bug that bothers me. I can't imagine having that one fluttering round my face in the dark. Yeeeeeeww!

That's stunning! Do you know what kind of moth it is?

Reminds me of a student house I lived in... One of my housemates dealt with the spiders and I dealt with everything else: moths, centipedes, earwigs, slugs. I once had to rescue a very naked housemate from a moth that had got into the bathroom while he was showering.

Oh my!!! My worst nightmare! I'm not a fan of creepy crawlies - I'm fine with the little ones (plus biggish spiders if they contribute to the household tasks by eating flies!), but a huge moth is a NO! If it has wings but no beak nor feathers I don't want it near me! :rnfrt:

I actually kind of like moths (I think of them as night-butterflies)! But that one is HUGE! I once found one like that, but instead of silver is was pink and brown....very beautiful for a moth!

Ohhh I’ll have to find the picture I took of the centipede my son found in the house (it was about the time of saroj’s worms and millipede scare so I didn’t share it incase it freaked her out lol) a bf short while back.

He or she is harming no one. Wait until dark and it will hunt for diner.
I actually think it’s passing away. They are usually very strong flyers and this guy is still on the ground this morning :(

I have never really bothered to look into it- if I remember I’ll try to find out later today :)

Yeah I’m not sure tbh but I’ll compare it with what I can now find on the moth you mention. It’s still out there so I’ll gently check the wings out and see then put him in a more sheltered area. The magpies will likely be along soon to harass the dog and I’m sure they’ll harass the moth too if it’s still there.
