I ordered some food from Sugarcreek Bird Farm, the Island Treat, Natures Garden Conure, a 23 pounds bag. So I cranked up the vacuum sealer....after a trip to Walmart to get more on the bagging material that is. I ended up with almost 6 @4 pound bags, I had about 1/2 pound left from the last order. I'll store most in the pantry after I freeze it to be sure there are no bugs in it from the manufacture, I don't think I'd get them from SBF. There is so much stuff in there that It's more than a seed mix, but only a part of their diet.
Now I'm waiting for the five pounds of Coffee I ordered from Hemisphere Coffee Roasters in Mechanicsburg, Oh.
If you don't have a vacuum sealer you should get one makes it a lot easier to store stuff like this.
Anyway Team Green will eat high on the Hog for months!
