I'm still a bit new here, so forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong section.

I just picked up my first birds (they're canaries!!) ever a few weeks ago now! This week I'm starting to notice signs of them molting...does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to help them get through it?

I have tagged @finchly because she is good with canaries and finches...

You can post this here, but if you ever have a query purly about canaries, you can post it here...

Add some protein to their diet. I got a commercial egg food for my Melon, but you can make it yourself. Mel quit singing for more than a month, but he's starting up again now. A wet paper towel will help keep the feathers from flying away while you clean. It was like a bird explosion some days!
