Where was he bitten? Was it that foot?

Maybe he is expressing the pain and/or stress he is in?

I know when I rescued Scarlett a female VOS ekkie. She was so severely abused in her previous home :( So when she came to live with me, she would do that same toe-tapping for a couple weeks. Soon she settled down, and became a wonderful bird. She was just so stressed and probably wondering why I wasnt doing bad things to her.

Poor baby. Looks like he is in some pain. I'm surprised your vet did not give him something for pain when he went in the first time. Hope all goes well tomorrow.

I'm betting the toe tapping is diet related
and not related to the injury. Good that you have a vet appointment. Keep us posted. Hope
it turns out to be a simple solution. I'll be thinking of you all.

Judy, usually diet related toe tapping is both feet pretty much in sync. This is extremely pronounced and and only the foot he was bitten on.

I don't know, I have seen diet toe-tapping. This looks nothing like it. I think he is in a lot of pain.

The only toe tapping I know about is diet related. This is not diet toe tapping. Perhaps a nerve or something got cut or pinched on his foot from the bite. I'm not sure. He needs to be rechecked. Maybe xrayed on the foot. He looks like he'll be fine, just a small problem to be fixed.

Yup. Something is bugging the foot. That's not diet related type tapping.

I agree. I don't think it's diet related. I'm glad you're taking him to the vet. :hug5:

I've never seen toe tapping before, so thank you for the video. All I can do is send positive thoughts and healing prayers to Mojo. Praying the vet visit goes well and that this is something easily fixed.

I wonder what the vet can do to fix something like that, being not diet related? It's not punctured or anything. In the videos, he doesn't act like he's in pain. Does he to you? His feathering sure looks beautiful, though.
