First job done

Everything went smoothly

As soon as i let KiKi out she flew onto her new cage

I took her old cage out the room and put her new cage in place, removed everything and gave it a good clean.

She wandered around on top of her new cage all good.



Bit of a pity her new perches hadnt arrived but used everything i had to hand and looked ok.

I also added a couple of new toys that had arrived today from Welcome to Seriously Nutz - Bird Toys For Serious Chewers!



She showed no hesitation at all with her new house.



Went inside no problem and tucked into her favourite treat for being a brave girl.

On the whole a good afternoon apart from my aching back.

I think the fact it's the same cage Mojo has and she's sneaked in there to steal food helped but really proud of her.

They have both had quite a day Mojo fell asleep on my wifes shoulder and KiKi fell asleep in the forraging box.

I know, it's just the nicest balsa! Not too hard and not too soft. I special order the smorgasboard ones.

Those are nice perches! Red manzanita or dark ribbonwood?

You will need to be ordering more of the special balsa for after Christmas she is destroying it so more will have to be ordered for her.

Kinda the point. I mean if she sat and stared at it I wouldn't have a job.

Mojo discovered her puzzling pieces toy today i havent been able to get a pic of her on it yet but she has started doing some damage to it hopefully grab a pic over the weekend.
KiKi hasnt touched anything she has never really bothered with toys she isnt scared of them she just doesnt bother, foraging cup she loves and will kill a hour but thats about it.

Give Kiki time, Pippen loves bells and things she can chew and attack. Maybe she'll discover how nicely a properly placed toy can scritch her head while she snoozes.
