I’ve always loved blue throated macaws. They can have a lot of attitude but they can be very sweet too.

Why don’t you get some floral foam and put it in a vase then put the feathers into it as a decoration.

Michael… wowza! Such a pretty boy! From what I know of Blue throats they are intelligent and masters at escaping their cages. It’s a shame you don’t share more…. But then , I don’t post enough photos either! So glad you gave us a delightful post with lots of pics!

That is an understatement. Within his first week at my house, when he was six months old, I went into his room one morning and found him sitting on top of his King's 506 cage. Since that day I have had to use a stainless steel chain with an expandable habitats toy hanger ball to secure it.
