Memorial/keepsake ideas?

I lost my baby boy, my "soul bird" this weekend and I am heartbroken. 12 years of love and memories, but unfortunately his little budgie body just wouldn't let him live forever.

Right now I've printed a bunch of his pictures, I have his feathers, I'm listening to his beautiful chirps and songs....

But I want something more too. Something special to remember him by. I'm curious what other people have done?

(including pictures of my boy just because he's adorable)



Rest in peace my sweet boy. I'll love you forever.

Oh, I forgot also to mention that I removed his leg band as a keepsake too. I plan to bury his body tomorrow, near his mate (who died 8 years ago).

I have a little "altar" for all my passed babies.
Urns, a tiny cup full of their favourite treat next to each, picture collage of them for each, and their feathers in the urn boxes, but I would like to set them up somehow instead of inside.

We got Kai’s talon prints and plan to get his prints tattood on our shoulders where he will be forever.
We also got a little box urn with his photo for the front.
My niece just sent me the sweetest little gift as well. It just arrived today when I was having a particularly hard day thinking of my sweet birdie boy. It’s a photo of him that she had made into a cute print with several of his favorite things all around him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I also have kind of an altar set up for my birds that have passed, including my dogs and my heart bunny. I have their urns, their footprints done in ornaments, their feathers and collars for the dogs.
