Pictures Meet Sprinkles

Sprinkles was seperated from Skittles in another room for some time. However, he could hear her so they called back and forth constantly...

Then she was slowly brought closer (cage) and now the cages are side by side. He was somewhat aggressive to her at times so they were only together supervised.

After that he was allowed to roam freely all day between their cages where he could communicate with her through her cage bars.

Then she was allowed in his cage with him locked out...and they communicated that way.

They’re finally ready to be together. Skittles adores her and doesn’t like leaving her for one minute.

Sprinkles isn’t tame, she’s very shy. Also it’s known Skittles is male. We haven’t had Sprinkles DNA’d. I just refer to her as a girl.

Hmmm babies..? They are both very young. Skittles isn’t a year old yet and Sprinkles has just been weaned.

She could be a boy. They are definately in love at this point though. They’ve preened each other all day.

If I ever did decide to breed I don’t think I could ever sell them. Would have to build me an aviary on to the house for them. There are a lot that need homes because people can’t handle their ‘bathroom habits.’
