Sitting on the front steps
We just brought a baby budgie home today - he'll hopefully eventually be a friend to the budgie we already have, Split Pea. Currently he's in quarantine, and seems to be doing fairly well for a new bird - he's definitely still scared, but he's poked at some of his toys and stretched out a bit.
He doesn't have a name yet, but based on the cere we're pretty confident it's a boy. He's got a very cute little yellow patch on the back of his head, too, which you can't see in the picture
That's my partner holding him.
And here's my favorite recent picture of Split Pea - he likes to launch himself at the phone as soon as I get it out, lol
We've got two cute little green boys now, and we're so excited
