Duck's are beautiful! We used to have 2 visit us at our trailer a few summers ago ... I don't know why but we named them Tony and Angie

We had a big flock of ducks and geese when we lived in TX. This little duck is so cute! Is he a mixed breed? Doesn't really matter.....so cute. Did you have to get IN the water to get this shot????

She hangs out with the Mallards, so I don't know if she's a hybrid or a mutation but she's really something else. It's kind of hard to see but she's all black and white. I've never seen anything like her. My friend Yvette took the picture and said she nearly fell in the water trying to get it!

Jen, aren't duck such perpetually happy birds? You just never see a sad duck. We are so fortunate to have what the locals call "Duck Park" here which is an industrial section of town. It is just all office buildings with gorgeous grounds, lawns, trees and a little stream which is a natural thing running through it. We have Canadian geese that stay all summer but are getting ready to fly south I guess right now. I am happy that this website had duck, goose and chicken posts for those of us who have had these delightful creatures.
