Medium or large?

I ask this question about the size of a grey parrot because some say it's a medium size parrot others sat large? This always has me scratching my head what do you guys think?

Depends on what the Grey is being compared to. Compared to a Greenwing macaw, it is medium. Compared to a lovebird or parrotlet, it is large.

It's generally more helpful to go by weight rather than how someone else classifies the species.

African Greys are generally classified as medium sized parrots.

I had a White Front Amazon, my CAG is huge. On the other side of the coin? He is small compared to a Macaw.

I have a macaw so I’d definitely say greys are a medium size bird, I also think 2’s are medium birds but I know of heaps of people who say they’re large
