There are several birds I would love to own: goffins or galah, timney, cape, hawkhead, toucanet
11. Describe a typical day with you at home with your birds.
Birds are up between 8 and 9 for breakfast in their cages. If I am home and working inside that day I might bring someone out to the living playgyms for one-on-one playtime, or they might all go outside to their sun cages. They get their pellet meal sometime in the afternoon, then they usually come out between 6 and 7 for dinner and playtime on their playgyms and are in bed between 9 and 10.
12. What have you learned about owning birds that you would like to share?
I have caiques. I cannot STRESS the importance of a sense of humor!
13. If you knew then what you know now about birds, what would you do differently?
I have only owned birds for about 3 years, and researched the HECK out of them right from the beginning, so I don't know that I would have done anything differently.
14. What other hobbies do you have?
I read a lot, and I love to cook.
15. Anything else you would like to share?
I love this forum. Thank you to everyone for being knowledgeable, friendly, open-minded and supportive.
