Max 2 week post op checkup today

Today was a run into Philly for Max's big 2 week post surgery checkup! They pulled a little blood for a basic CBC to check his white blood cell count and did a quick ultrasound to take a peek at things inside. Best news, absolutely no fluid at all! Things look great, he is healing wonderfully. She took out a few stitches and the rest will dissolve.

Once the CBC is back, he will likely stop the 2 antibiotics which Max will be happy to hear. Long as the blood looks good, Max won't need to go back for a month!

I won't know what to do with the extra time, I've been doing the hour plus drive to Dr Knight or Dr Tyson at least once a week for over 2 months now.

Oh what beautiful photos - and extra beautiful knowing that Max has been though some sort of ordeal and come out on the other side looking so great. Is there a thread where I can catch up on his adventures?
